What a four-person firm pays elsewhere

Per-seat pricing is the norm in this category. Flat pricing is the point of the Team plan. A four-person firm on FreshBooks Plus pays about $87/month ($43 plus 4 × $11 per member) — Track & Bill is $69.99 flat, for up to 5 people.

Questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

Yes — a card is required to start the free trial (7 days on monthly plans, 30 when you prepay a year), but nothing is charged during it. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then and pay nothing.

Can I cancel? Are there refunds?

Cancel anytime, in the app, no phone call. Your subscription runs out the period you already paid for and then stops — no cancellation fee, no minimum term. And if the product isn't working out, email us within 5 days of your first paid charge for a full refund of it. Details in the Terms of Service.

Is the Team plan priced per seat?

No. It is one flat $69.99 a month for up to 5 people. Adding a fourth or fifth person does not change the bill.

What happens if we grow past five people?

Get in touch. A larger tier is not published yet — the product is built around firms under five, and we would rather talk to you than guess.

Where do I sign up and pay?

On the web. Signup and billing run through Stripe in the browser — there is no app store in the loop, on any platform.

Who processes my clients’ payments?

Your own Stripe account. You connect it, the Pay online button on your invoices points at your payment link, and the money goes to you. Track & Bill never touches it.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can export everything — including the retainer ledger — with one click, at any time. Account deletion is available in the app with a typed confirmation.

What is the invoice badge?

A small footer line on invoices you send: “Invoice your clients with Track & Bill →”. It is on by default and can be switched off in settings.
