“I’ll Zelle you tonight.”

Day twelve.

“We’ll get you next time.”

Three sits ago.

“Wait — what did we agree on?”

Settled before the first sit. In writing.

Track & Bill exists for exactly this.

How it works

Three moves. That’s the whole system.

Step 1

Agree the rate

Send a link. They see your rate, type their name, and it’s date-stamped on their card.

Step 2

Start the timer

Start when you arrive, stop when you leave. Each family’s rate applies on its own.

Step 3

Send the invoice

Email the PDF or text it from your own number. Card, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal — or cash at the door.

Already keeping this in a spreadsheet? Save it as CSV and import it— families and jobs that don’t exist yet are created as part of the import.

Watch it work

Thirty seconds, no sales pitch

The old way — texts, notes, “I’ll Zelle you tonight” — vs. this.
The invoice goes out before she’s off the porch. Every screen is the real app.

Track & Bill shows you that number, per family, every time you open it — and turns it into a real invoice in a couple of taps.

Questions

Is the rate agreement a contract?

It’s a written record: the family opens a link, sees exactly what you charge, and types their name to agree. The agreement is date-stamped and stays attached to the family in the app. It exists so the rate conversation happens once, up front — not on the porch after a five-hour sit.

Does Track & Bill schedule or book sits?

No. It has no calendar, booking requests, or client messaging. It tracks the time you work, turns it into an invoice, and shows you who has paid. If you need booking software, this is not it — it replaces the spreadsheet and the chasing.

How old do I have to be?

The person who creates the account and signs the agreement must be 19 or older. Sitting before then? A parent or guardian signs up, the account is theirs, and you do the tracking and invoicing under it.

Do parents need an account or an app?

No. Invoices arrive by email as a PDF, or as a text from your own phone number. Either way there’s a share link that opens in any browser — no login, nothing to install on their side.

How do families pay?

By card through a Pay online button pointed at your own Stripe account — the money goes straight to you, never through us — or by Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal from the invoice. Or they pay the way they always have — cash, check, Zelle — and you record it against the invoice, including partial payments.

Is there a phone app?

It installs from the browser on iPhone or Android — no app store. Open the site, add it to your home screen, and it works like a native app.

What does it cost?

$19.99 a month, or $120/yr billed annually, after a free trial of up to 30 days — card required, you won't be charged until the trial ends — and a 5-day money-back guarantee once you do subscribe. Unlimited families on the one plan.

Wasn’t this built for consultants?

It started there — and the billing problem is the same one: time at a rate, an invoice, and someone who pays late. But sitting is its own environment now: the app says “Families,” rates come per hour, visit, or night, and the rate agreement is front and center.
